This Sunday the United States Navy reported that a combat ship had to dock in an emergency, in a port in Cuba. This was reported by the CBSMiami writing team .

The USS Milwaukee boat arrived at the Guantanamo Bay naval station for the medical corps to review the people who tested positive.

Until now, the United States Army officials have not given a specific part of the situation.

Ship’s crew was vaccinated

A spokesman for the United States Navy reported that the ship’s 105 crew members were vaccinated against Covid-19.

In addition, they expressed that they have not determined whether the troops that were positive with the virus have the Omicron variant.

This new strain is highly contagious and has once again put the United States health authorities on alert, due to a significant rebound, when the virus that caused chaos in 2020 was thought to be controlled with vaccines.

Armada waits for more results

It is expected that in the next few hours the United States Navy will give a more complete part of the situation.

In addition, they could indicate the number of troops that would be infected with Covid-19, at this time.

The different military components of the United States have urged all their troops, that they must have the required doses to be protected against Covid-19.
